Senior Category Manager

• Is looking for an exciting Senior Category Manager position

Role:

• As Senior Category Manager, you will lead the Impulse and Out of Home Category team
• Managing a team of 2 Category Managers and an exec
• The Senior Category Manager also takes full responsibility for executing the Category Vision in channel and working closely with the Category Director to define
• Work cross functionally to influence decisions using category data to improve share and distribution points
• Utilise continuous data tools to make objective category recommendations
• Be highly customer facing and lead the brand agenda with the retailers

Ideal candidate:

• Will be an experienced Senior Category Manager or Category Controller looking for breadth and ownership  
• Preferably works in Food and Drink but with extensive FMCG experience
• Be an expert at using continuous data to develop engaging Category Strategies and Visions
• Have experience using the visions to drive customer engagement and decision making
• Possess excellent leadership and coaching skills and have some experience of line management
• An ability to influence is paramount as you will be required to influence at all levels internally and externally.
