What can you expect as Territory Manager at STIHL GB?
You will be responsible for driving sales through our STIHL Dealers across the South-East region, covering Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Greater London, Berkshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
- You will develop a sales strategy to deliver revenue and grow the business
- A great opportunity to build long-term relationships at all levels with our customers, including our Dealers and garden centres
- Every day will be different, dealing with the varied businesses within your territory
- You will be part of a team of 7 other Territory Managers across the country with plenty of opportunities to learn and get hands-on with STIHL products
- We are an innovative brand with exciting new developments happening on a regular basis
- You will work with other STIHL departments such as Learning and Development, Marketing, Customer Support, sharing knowledge and learning from others
- At STIHL we are passionate about our products and our customers. As a Territory Manager, you will directly contribute to our success and growth
Requirements for the Territory Manager role
You will be a high calibre salesperson looking for your next career move. You will have at least 2 years’ field sales experience, ideally gained within a fast-paced blue-chip environment.
We are looking for a people-person with a passion for field sales and the ambition to test their ability within this world leading brand. You will have the communication skills and commercial ability to represent STIHL. Specific qualities will include:
- Talent for sales, relationship building, commercial acumen and a desire to self-improve
- Experience of call planning, preparation, structure and achievement
- Skilled at fact finding, questioning and verbal clarity
- Negotiation and objection handling skills
- Empathy and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Home location that is central to the territory
- Full driving licence and willing to travel extensively including nights away
