A NEW Head of Commercial role created for a newly launched Plant Based contract manufacturer / kitchen lab focused on partnering with food businesses with Vegan agenda. A senior commercial lead accountable for increasing opportunities within B2B partnerships driving full scale contractual wins; client identification, product differentiation, NPD, formulation to securing commercial agreement.

An Internationally successful contract manufacturer with a one stop shop service offering to develop & produce tailored Plant Based products for food brands. Now launching kitchen lab manufacturing facilities in the UK.

Description
  • Accountable for driving business and increasing its revenue, identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company, tracking new markets and emerging trends.
  • Leads sales and client-relationship management. Recommend new products & services and manages the NPD process.
  • Guide long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements


Commercial Management:
  • Customer relations. Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.
  • Brand management. To ensure that Foodiq's brand is promoted effectively and also protected and fluency with respect to digital marketing tools and techniques.


  • New product development (NPD). To lead the identification & development of new formulations and products and the costing of these products from an internal and margin perspective.


  • Product differentiation. To track market changes, and ensure that Foodiq's products and services stand out from the crowd.


  • Business development. To identify & convert new customers, and develop opportunities within existing ones.


  • Product lifecycle management. To manage products & services through their full lifecycle, from conception through to the retirement.


Profile
  • Food manufacturing either within contract manuf, B2B, Ingredients or Own Label
  • Commercial management in a a B2B model
  • Proven success in delivering full cycle contractual agreements
  • Exposure of overarching NPD, product management, costings, commercial agreement
  • P&L delivery and accountability for company performance
  • Strategic thinking - short / mid to long term objectives
  • Project management related to product development
  • Start up business thinking
