Job Details

Our client: 

  • Our client is a global FMCG supplier with a range of instantly recognisable brands.
  • Have become a category leader in the UK through continued innovation and acquisition.
  • Their brands are currently in significant YoY growth and their category, marketing and sales departments are being heavily invested in.
  • Are currently looking for a hybrid National Account Manager and Category Manager to analyse category data and bring insights into the team to execute compelling detailed selling pitches.

 

The role: 

  • A National Account Manager/Cat Man to compile weekly and monthly data using market data and insight sources.
  • The National Account Manager/Category Manager will be responsible for engaging and building relationships with retailer customers.
  • Deliver sales, manage cost prices, and profit targets whilst supporting the team in hitting business KPI’s.
  • Work with the SLT and be responsible for supporting key innovation launches.
  • Build upon and execute compelling selling pitches to key customers as well as new business targets.

 

Ideal candidate: 

  • Must have experience in UK FMCG market ideally with previous experience of National Account management.  A strong commercial, analytical mind with selling instinct.
  • The role will involve cross functional team working therefore the ability to successfully develop and maintain relationships by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial.
  • High degree of learning agility with strong verbal and written communication to adapt to the hybrid SNAM/Cat Manager role. 

 

Other information:

  • You will be given the opportunity to develop in a fast-paced flexible role providing exposure to both National accounts as well as Category management.
  • Homebased contract with 2 days a week working from London.
  • Strong salary + fully expensed travel.
