Based in South East England, my client are a market leading manufacturer of premium gym equipment.

Client Details

Appearing at a number of Olympic Games, my client are a market leading manufacturer of gym equipment. Having established themselves as a key player in the UK market they supply gyms, health clubs and private residence all across the UK.

Their aim is to reshape the present and future of physical activity every day. To pursue this mission and continue their success they are looking to add a National Account Manager - Premium Fitness to their team.

Description

The National Account Manager - Premium Fitness:

  • Manage your assigned national accounts to grow revenue and grow your P&L
  • You will manage 1 - 2 national health clubs - for example Nuffield Health or David Lloyd
  • Manage major national projects, collaborating with numerous internal and international HQ departments to deliver exceptional project execution and customer experience
  • Develop customer relationships by implementing a balanced contact matrix across each account
  • Maximise and create sales opportunities within the assigned accounts
  • Prospect new national accounts, aligned with my client's brand positioning
  • Attend exhibitions, trade shows and industry events and follow up all opportunities to promote the brand and develop new business arising from these events
  • Develop strong relationships across the internal teams - marketing, sales support, logistics, after sales and accounts
  • Be able to professionally advise on funding solutions to finance projects
  • Keep up-to-date as a product and solutions expert
  • Adapt to different styles/audiences - i.e. high credibility at senior level (CEO, Finance etc) and also on site with site general managers etc
  • CRM and quotation tool management, with clean and up-to-date market data.

 


Profile

The Successful National Account Manager - Premium Fitness:

 

  • Proven track record in a national account management role or operations / general manager roles
  • Strong financial acumen and vast P&L management experience
  • A passion and desire for fitness and knowledge of fitness product use
  • A strong track record within the health and fitness or sports industry is desired but not essential
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
  • High credibility at a senior level across C-suite executives, and also with on-site general managers
  • Adept at working with different styles/audiences to suit the business need or task in hand
  • Exceptionally organised and able to deal calmly with high pressure situations and/or changing deadlines
  • Long-term customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation abilities
  • Hunger and results-driven mentality
  • Passion and optimism
  • Team player and collaborative
  • Happy to travel across the UK to meet clients.

 


Job Offer

The Successful Candidate:

 

  • £45,000 - £50,000 per annum basic salary
  • £5,000 per annum car allowance
  • £20k OTE
  • Other company benefits
