Key Account Manager - Retail
Leading Global Bakery Business
Home based role / North West site
Key responsibilities;
- Deliver business results on accounts portfolio (Volume / NS / AV) in line with budgets and company strategy
- Identify and develop profitable new business with existing and new customers
- Create and maintain medium / long term account plans for major customers ensuring milestones & objectives are met
- Responsible for delivering new business / launches successfully through specific projects and smart commercial developments
- Assimilate quickly and use effectively information – data on financials, market, customers & competitors
- Strong negotiation & selling skills with ability to understand and package commercial proposals and solutions
- Be aware of the competitive environment, up and coming trends in the sector; present new concepts in liaison with Marketing / R&D
- Network & negotiate with internal colleagues to deliver profitable solutions & customer satisfaction; will include managing & coordinating projects
- Build strong relationships with decision makers & influencers throughout customer base
The ideal candidate:
- Preferably, Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Sales / Commercial experience with Food - Bakery sector would be advantageous
- Experience managing major mults/retailers
- Self-motivated: results focused yet flexible approach
- Ability to plan work objectives to meet financial targets
- Experience managing and coordinating projects
- Customer centric mindset
£55 - £65k Salary + Car allowance or Company Car + Bonus
