Join a visionary team working with successful well-known brands that have scope for growth and development. You decide what's next and where it's going.
This role of Category Manager is less about the management of data and spreadsheets and more about true leadership of the category, acting as the NorthStar, guiding both internal stakeholders and external customers on the category journey.
You will step into a role that already has category captaincy in one retailer as well as being the "go to" supplier for this product area in another retailer. You will immediately be an integral part of the future strategy and your idea's, drive, and ambition will enable the business to double the value of this category over the next five years. We're talking about a large category here with a combined market value of £1 Billion.
The function of category management has been transformed in this business over the last few years and they have now created a blueprint for success working very closely with brand, NPD, and sales colleagues.
The brands are well-respected household names however up to 30% of the business is private label, therefore giving an extra dimension to the role.
To be successful in the role you will
- Have solid technical experience with either IRI, Nielsen, or Kantar as well as retailer data plus of course being highly numerical
- Currently be a Category Exec or Category Manager looking for a progressive step. Or you will possibly be working for a data agency or retailer
- Have FMCG, ideally food experience within either brand or own label
You can either apply with CV today or call me, Abbi to discuss further.
