National Account Manager

Home Based

£50,000 - £60,000 DOE, plus annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus BH, £7,000 car allowance, enhanced pension scheme, life assurance 4x salary, private health for self and family.

We are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to join a well-established team responsible for a range of brands that are renowned within the Health and Beauty category. The business is fast growing and has gone through a period of sustained growth over the past 2 years, resulting in additional heads within the sales team.

You will join a fast-paced culture that strives in the face of challenges, you will receive guidance and support from the business to grow within your own career. The team are all hands-on-deck, with a common goal in mind and work together to meet this goal.

The role at hand is to manage the major players in the Discounter channel, developing both the own brand and distributor side of the business for customers such as Home Bargains, B+M, Wilkos, Bodycare as well as some smaller accounts within the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for each individual account’s P+L and developing a long term strategy enabling the business to meet and exceed budgeted sales and contribution targets.
  • Building positive, mutually beneficial business relationships with key customers and colleagues.
  • Lead the (exciting) promotional plan, working effectively to launch NPD and hit deadlines re POS both in store and online.
  • Ability to “make things happen”! Consistently looking for ways to maximise capabilities and grow your channel.

Requirements

  • Experience working in the Discounters channel with customers such as Home Bargains, B+M, Wilkos, Bodycare etc.
  • Demonstrable experience of growth within a NAM position and gaining distribution
  • Strong commercially with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Highly personable and driven.
