The company

Our client, a highly successful dairy group, supplies dairy-based ingredients to food manufacturing customers from dedicated and well-invested processing sites. Working closely and in partnership with both UK and global food manufacturers, the company supplies high quality ingredients that are used in a wide range of food products including ice cream, chilled desserts, chocolate confectionery, ready meals, soups, sauces and biscuits. The company is now seeking to appoint an Account Executive to support and drive their ambitious growth plans.

The role

With a can-do attitude, exceptional relationship-building and soft skills, you will report to the Head of Sales. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join an established food manufacturer as part of a dynamic team. You will primarily be supporting the growth of the existing and new customer relationships.

Key remit will include supporting the business-winning activity by generating opportunities and qualifying prospects to close deals. You will source new opportunities and new customers through outbound calls and emails. Other responsibilities will include evaluating sales opportunities and providing appropriate quotations, representing the company at industry trade association meetings and liaising with Customer Services to provide outstanding service to customers.

About you

Of graduate calibre, you have some practical sales experience under your belt, ideally gained within an FMCG environment. Ambitious recent graduates in e.g., Business, Marketing or Food-related degrees, will also be considered as my client offers an excellent training programme. The role is based in the company's H.O. near Chester. You can work from home 2 days a week.
