Job Details

Main Responsibilities:
Lead the stock control process for all products (including raw materials, finished goods, remote depot stocks)

  • Complete and report on root cause analysis on stock discrepancies
  • Manage and maintain inventory records to meet external audit expectations
  • Control and facilitate stock transfers between sites, maintaining adequate levels to meet customer demand across 6 sites
  • Manage stock accuracy to 98.5% at our own and 5 x 3rd party sites
  • Collaborate with relevant departments (Finance, Production, Purchasing, Planning across the company and 3rd parties to lead resolution of any stock discrepancies
  • Managing accurate rotation of all stocks according to best before date and maintaining accurate records of movements.
  • Manage and instigate action to clear slow moving and obsolete lines
  • Manage the end to end 'On hold' process of all stocks - including ownership of material disposal
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure 'on hold' product is controlled (e.g. correctly recorded, stored, returned to supplier, disposed of)
  • To support all stakeholders with expert knowledge as required
  • Constantly striving to improve our supply chain processes
  • SIF administration duties
  • Provide cover for Logistics Team Leader - routing, liaising with 13 drivers
  • Manage relationship with 3rd party warehouse provider - including calling off raw materials and quarterly stock checks on site
  • Participate in and or lead process improvement projects and support implementation of new systems.
     
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent PC Skills incl. Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Good organisational and administration skills with a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
  • Previous experience in product supply and Logistics
  • Ability to report and present accurate information to show business impact and make first stage recommendations based on this information
