Salary - dependent on experience but with a growth plan for the future too

About the Company
We are working with a long established and highly respected business, who have supporting the Agricultural and Horticultural industries for the last 5 decades. Often being way ahead of their time, their message of sustainability hasn't been in response to a changing world, but has always been at the heart of what they strive to achieve. As a result, they are in a strong position to drive this agenda and help other growers improve their sustainability and improve yields and returns in the process.

About the Role
This is a new role for the business where you will be supporting the General Manager with their ambitious expansion plans. Having experienced significant and consistent growth for a long period, they are looking to continue and, where possible, accelerate this process. You will be managing a number of customer relationships and exploring ways of developing these. You will also be responsible for expanding their customer base through exploratory conversations and networking.

The Ideal Candidate
You will ideally have some experience of selling to growers. This could be glasshouse or outdoor growers, within Agriculture and/or Horticulture. There is a great opportunity to develop this role in time, so they are looking for someone that will grow with the position and exhibits leadership qualities.
