A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful sales professional with people management experience to join my client as their new Sales Manager, driving an existing sales business unit to achieve targets and grow the revenues and profits of the business at the same time. The Sales Manager will join the senior leadership team and be an integral part of the business for the long-term. Ideal for candidates used to the fast pace of FMCG.

Sales Manager - HORECA


The Sales Manager - HORECA will:
  • create and build a successful sales strategy to achieve the agreed business and sales targets
  • ensure that the sales team are developed and coached to achieve their own personal targets (this role is designed to transition into the management side of the sales team after a period of time managing some key customers)
  • be hands on in developing and maximising new opportunities to grow revenue and targets by developing extensive networks to drive more greater reach for my client
  • grow and nurture the sales team; training, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team (after an agreed period of time)
  • drive a positive and successful sales culture driving best in class practices at all times maintain the very highest customer service approach at all times
  • support the management of social media through the website, twitter, Facebook and Instagram top maximise market position and reputation in the industry
  • in conjunction with the marketing manager, be responsible for producing comprehensive marketing material including the successful catalogue
  • Report to senior management on sales performance - in line with business expectations, KPIs and profit targets
  • Design, build and execute an effective sales pipeline to drive new business to meet targets


The Sales Manager - HORECA will come with the following skills and experience:
  • A proven track record in sales within a related market sector or sales channel
  • Experience with coaching, developing and training a successful sales team into a high-performing sales team
  • A proactive, hands on sales professional, driven by success and comfortable with KPIs, setting and achieving personally
  • Strong ability to build on existing relationships but also strong networking skills and an appetite for new business and continued growth
  • Very self-motivated, self-starter but someone who leads by example when managing a sales team
  • Ambitious, driven - determined to surpass previous performance and results
  • Previous experience with a small to medium sized business
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to work and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Based in and around the South-East to commute to the South West London office

Job Offer

£55,000 salary (fixed) + up to £15,000 in commission + company car + benefits
