My client has been established for over 30 years and is well embedded in the niche high – end HoReCa market; selling specialist, luxury, high – quality coffee solutions to prestigious clients throughout the UK.

They are renowned for their first – class products and the after – sale service they provide to their customers.

About the Role:

Working as a Coffee Business Development Manager covering London & surround, you will be required to drive new business coffee, coffee equipment, maintenance and side product sales forward alongside the management of some existing accounts.  Your main focus will be selling into cafes, bakeries, restaurants, hotels leisure sites and an co-working space.  Main duties will include;

  • Generating new business customers across coffee equipment and maintenance in the OOH channel
  • Developing a growth strategy focussed on opening new accounts and increasing the product range within existing accounts
  • Arranging business meetings with prospective clients from your own network of contacts
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts for new accounts opened
  • Carrying out structured account management visits to review performance of the account in line with SLA’s
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to senior decision makers
  • Attending­ relevant exhibitions and networking groups etc.
  • Carrying out coffee tasting and equipment demonstrations in the London showroom
  • Preparing proposals
  • Assisting with new site openings, site launch days, installs and promotional activity

You will mainly be based from home, however you will be expected to be out in the field for the majority of your time, meeting with and selling to both new and existing clients.  You will also have access to the impressive London based Roastery/Showroom when required.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the role of Coffee Business Development Manager you must possess the following;

  • Extensive and successful experience of selling into the high end HoReCa market – ideally coffee equipment/ingredients although similar foodservice products may be considered
  • A genuine passion for exceptional coffee
  • A good knowledge of a variety of coffee machines but espresso, bean to cup preferably (not vending)
  • Based in the London
  • A willingness to travel
  • A consultative sales approach
  • Target driven

Salary/Benefits Information:

In return for your role as Coffee Sales/Account Manager, you will receive a basic salary of up to £50,000 p.a (depending on experience), an attractive commission structure, travel  allowance and other benefits.
