We are currently recruiting for a National Account Manager to join a well-established team responsible for a range of brands that are well known within their categories.
We are one of the longest established field sales resource companies in the UK.  We provide specialist sales expertise for our many well-known manufacturing clients, representing their portfolio of products and creating new routes to market. The Role:

  • Direct responsibility for delivering sales growth within Grocery multiples and Discounters. 
  • Negotiating and managing commercial agreements including JBPs
  • Build and deliver sustainable growth adding value to our clients business’s
  • Drive customer and category growth to outperform the market that further strengthens the brands and business relationships.
  • Gaining new business and product listings
  • Managing promotion spend and activity in line with annual budgets, Utilising activation tactics to increase shelf presence and ultimately increase sales.
  • Ongoing evaluation and response to sales performance vs plan
  • Build effective working relationships with customers and clients
  • Produce accurate volume and value forecasts
  • Monitor competitor activity

About you:

  • An understanding of major retail environment ideally within OTC or healthcare
  • Experience in either Account Management or Commercial Buying role within major UK retailers - Grocery multiples and Discounters preferable
  • A strong track record of achieving target and delivering results against key business measures
  • Broad understanding of the total business mix – marketing, supply chain and financial management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of working to KPI’s and achieving growth and new business targets in a National Account role
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written, to develop relationships internally and externally to the business.
