Working in collaboration with Commercial Operations and the trading teams, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all own brand ranges.

You will also be responsible for ensuring a good working relationship across group functions that allows us to deliver the own buy plans in a timely manner, reporting on and raising the visibility of key dates and performance.

Description
  • Own the format and process for range reviews, working closely with the space and range planning manager to find a process that optimises range
  • Regularly provide updates and or challenge to stakeholders of range change activity taking place and highlight changes and amendments to the plan across the year and the impact.
  • Responsible for the detailed range planning element of range review process
  • Own and develop the change control process against the full year annual plan ensuring this is consistent and transparent
  • Continuously review, analyse, and measure the effectiveness of existing processes and systems within commercial own buy delivery, collaborate across teams to understand existing challenges and lead necessary change to address. Provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement
  • Represent the Range team at core business meetings, ensuring that key information is provided, and key business change requirements are prepared for and understood.
  • Be the key point of contact for all range change, status and updates for the business
  • Management and development of direct report, conducting regular 1 to 1s, quarterly reviews and general feedback to support great performance and engagement






Profile
  • Ability to control range review critical path across the division, strong awareness of continuous improvement techniques and processes
  • A process focused and systematic approach. Energised from establishing ways of working, new frameworks and ensuring process governance and adherence to these
  • Strong awareness of continuous improvement techniques and processes
  • Work closely with the Commercial Development Manager to identify and develop new opportunities to innovate and improve the core range review areas
  • Prioritisation skills which have sound rationale but with an ability to change and adapt if the business agenda changes and ability to work with ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting updates to senior stakeholders and category teams.
  • Proven strong collaboration skills across functions and management levels.
  • Challenging and confident with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with high standards
