Grocery National Account Manager

Description

The Grocery National Account Manager will:-
  • drive and develop effective sales strategies with the grocery customers in order to generate maximum profit and sustainable growth
  • own and drive the sales strategy within the grocery channel
  • focus on range, price and promotion strategies
  • be a key member of both the sales team and the wider UK team and exude my client's values on a daily basis
  • collaborate and cooperate closely with marketing and category management colleagues to maximise delivery and results
  • be a true leader within the role and continually look to develop your skills and yourself through self-assessment and regular feedback
  • drive excellent relationships with the grocery customers and buyers to maximise all commercial opportunities


Profile

The Grocery National Account Manager will:-
  • be degree-educated or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • come with previous and current account management and skills within FMCG, consumer care, OTC/Pharma sectors
  • previous or current experience within the Top 4 mults
  • ideally have a mix between blue chip FMCG experience and also SME experience too
  • have excellent commercial acumen and P&L experience and understanding
  • a self-starter, self-motivated and with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • be collaborative, a team player with excellent communication skills
  • be someone who will challenge the status quo, step and lead when needed
  • be proficient on IT systems; Excel, PowerPoint
  • come with experience of working with IRI, EPOS etc.
  • have access to the Surrey-based office a min of two days per week


Job Offer

£50,000 to £60,000 per annum DOE + annual OTE + car allowance + benefits
