Category Development Executive - London-based Hybrid

  • Create and deliver selling propositions to drive everyday availability of the brand
  • Be the expert on retailer specific shopper insight
    • create, maintain and publish reports to provide the business with insights.
    • Collate data and analyse the category
    • Identify opportunities, liaising with the Category Manager to proceed with the relevant opportunities
    • Catalogue in store plannograms, and apply sales data to the space in store to create rationales for fair space share
Category Development Executive Roles & Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver selling propositions to drive everyday availability of the brand
  • Be the expert on retailer specific shopper insight
    • create, maintain and publish reports to provide the business with insights.
  • Collate data and analyse the category
  • Identify opportunities, liaising with the Category Manager to proceed with the relevant opportunities
  • Catalogue in store plannograms, and apply sales data to the space in store to create rationales for fair space share
Category Development Required Skills
  • Numbers and data driven
  • Analytical skillset
  • Previous experience within FMCG
  • Understanding of using Nielsen, IRI or Kantar
  • Technical capability to operate technical systems
  • Strong excel skills
