One of the largest family-owned medium seized FMCGs in the UK with their multi-category portfolio of Brand and Own Label food products delivering across all channels. Some products have been rejuvenated through innovation and plant-based alternatives whilst working closely with the retailer buyer teams delivering first-class Own Label development. With a refreshed SLT in place, the business is now on a growth journey and and requires the talent that has the desire and willingness to help drive this.

The Role:
This is a pivotal and high-profile position within the Group reporting into the Grocery Business Unit Director and is charged with the responsibility of delivering against budget and building a close-knit relationship with the Tesco team. Ideally, you will have the career ambition to progress within the business with the Grocery BUD role being the direct progression route within 2-3yrs and the business will support your own development plan and ambitions.
You:
· Significant and senior level commercial experience ideally with Tesco
· Ideally branded ambient experience within food
· Must be able to create and execute the customer strategy
· Solid relationship building skills
· Being a homebased role, you’ll need to able to work independently in a remote team
· Will require good access to Tesco HQ
· Commercially savvy with a sound understanding of category management
