Excellent Field Sales position with a growing Foodservice wholesaler

 

THE COMPANY:

We are a leading but thriving and growing Foodservice wholesaler based in the South Coast of the UK seeking to appoint a new Business Development Manager to look after an established account base.

Our company has developed through a strong reputation for quality of products and services to Chefs across all types of Foodservice establishments.

Due to the comprehensive nature of our range, our products are suitable for a wide range of end users including Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Care homes, education, contract catering and leisure.

We are well known across the South of England

The last 3 years have been exciting times for our company with positive development within both our sales and telesales teams.

This has led to us being able to develop positive, vibrant teams in both areas and we seek to continue this through the new appointment of a Field Sales Manager to support further growth and success within our Field sales function.

 

THE ROLE:

This role is a great opportunity to manage an existing account base of foodservice clients across a designated geographical area – and demonstrate growth via effective new business and account development.

The account base will consist mainly of Restaurants, Hotels and Pubs although there will also be a strong amount of Public Sector based accounts such as Schools and Hospitals. The role is of a consultative nature due to the comprehensive range available to the client and candidates will be expected to be able to communicate with a wide range of decision maker ranging from Chefs through to Catering Managers and Purchasing teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a comprehensive and market leading product range to foodservice clients, supported by an excellent level of service.

 

THE APPLICANT:

We are ideally seeking to speak to proven sales professionals with experience selling into the foodservice and catering sector.

•           A background working for a foodservice food manufacturer or wholesales is paramount.

•           Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in field sales.

•           Candidates with experience in sales to the hospitality sector are of particular interest.

•           Candidates must have strong business development skills and drive to achieve new business.
