Account Manager - Field/Office-Based (Part Time)

Thyme Marketing is the UK's leading outsourced field sales agency in the natural and organic channel, representing some of the biggest and best brands. This role is ideal for those looking for a new challenge and who enjoy working with new products and hunting new business. We are at an exciting stage of our development looking to grow our level of service to our customers. This is a new role and a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Location: Head Office – Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire.

Job Role: 2 days field-based covering Midlands/Northern territory
Office Role: 2 days providing telesales/admin support

The ideal candidate will be confident, outgoing, professional and flexible to work in a small team and on their own initiative. Previous experience in dealing with customers face to face and via telesales is essential.

Field Sales (2 days per week)

 

Territory Sales Manager role within the independent health and natural product industry, presenting products and ranges to retailers, ensuring those brands we represent are given the best chance to develop within this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop an agreed territory area calling on an existing retail customer base.

Ensure that the agreed number of stores are visited during the sales cycle.

Prepare and plan sales cycle journey plans.

Present all of our partner brands in a professional manner, providing the customer with all product and background information.

Pursuit of agreed brand and company sales targets.

Telesales/Admin. Assistant (2 days per week)

To manage a portfolio of customers via regular tele-sales/email contact. 

Key Responsibilities:

To telesales an agreed call list of customers across the UK and Ireland

Support the sales team with follow up calls to retail stores

To contact and introduce Thyme to new retail stores across the UK

To set up and maintain a regular call system

To look for new opportunities for both Thyme Marketing and Thyme Store

Qualifications and experience

Previous field sales account management experience (Essential)

Experience of the natural and organic channel (Desirable)

Experience of sales via telephone (Desirable) Experience of journey planning (Essential)

Full clean UK driving licence (Essential)

Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role (Essential)

Willingness and ability to travel (Essential)

Flexibility to work in a small team and on own (Essential)

Sales & Territory Indicators:

Basic Salary : £25-28k pro rata per annum depending on experience

Company car or allowance

Company pension scheme

Commission Potential : £5k pro rata per annum
