New Chapter are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Private Client Manager to join a well-established and award-winning wine merchant. Representing some of the best wines in the world, our client is looking to refine and modernise the way wine merchants manage clients, utilising data analytics and feedback to provide a better experience for each individual.

We are looking for a focused and entrepreneurial individual with experience and knowledge in the wine industry to join the team and help drive the expansion journey of the brand. With the backing of a global business, our client has ambitious plans for the next 24 months providing an excellent platform for personal growth.

 The role will include but not limited to:

  • Building and managing relationships with clients to increase sales, encourage interaction with the brand and expand the agency wine sales.
  • Develop new business from multiple sources, seeking new business through events, customer and business interactions both online and offline.
  • Contribution to copy writing for team and personal offers in collaboration with Digital Marketing and Brand Managers.
  • Analytics of personal offer success rate, developing a strategy to maximise customer interest and enquiries for new launches and current stock sales.
  • Attending tastings and dinners to further build relationships, helping to organise events that maximise brand value.

The role covers every facet of managing the relationship as the sole point of contact for top clients.

Requirements:

  • A strong level of wine knowledge with a focus on old world wines.
  • Sales experience (4 years +) dealing with HNW and UHNW individuals.
  • Demonstratable experience of thinking outside the box and growing a client database
  • WSET Qualification (preferable)
