National Account Executive - High Street Discounters 
£45,000 - £55,000 + car allowance and bonus
Remote hybrid working

We have partnered with a key client of ours to find a National Account Executive to join the team with responsibility for the High Street Discounters, think Iceland, Farmfoods, Poundland etc. In this role you will be responsible for a number of household brands, the business also has a strong own label presence.

This is very much a role that will support your growth, we are looking for a candidate that may have had some exposure to P&L responsibility and is now looking to be developed and coached into a fully functioning National Account Manager.

You will join a supportive team that is all about growth, you will be working with experienced stakeholders to help further your career. Ideally, you will currently be working in an FMCG business having had some exposure to P&L management, it isn't necessary that you have had experience with branded or own label or the exact retailers. We are looking for someone who wants to progress in their career in a growing business with great support.

Experience

  • Ideally degree educated or evidence of strong academics
  • Combined with a track record of success
  • Experience within the specific channel is preferable, but not essential
  • Experience working within an FMCG environment
  • P&L Management
  • Ability to negotiate & agree on terms and secure incremental activity
  • Excellent forecasting skills
