Senior National Account Manager | Fresh Food | Hertfordshire
Salary ~£50k
Are you currently a national account manager supplying fresh food products? Are you looking to take a step up in your career and hold more P&L responsibility? Are you a real foodie that is passionate about the industry and products? If so, we want to hear from you.

About Our Client
Our client is a leading supplier of a variety of food products with a great reputation for quality and working collaboratively with their customers. They operate in a very fast-paced arena and work closely with one another to ensure orders get to customers in full and on time. They serve chefs and restaurants on a daily basis and thousands of consumers eat their products. They have strong ties to the food scene in London (although they have a national reach) and pride themselves in serving some of the best restaurants in the country.

About the Role
You will use your account management skills and sales energy to identify opportunities within the market and existing accounts to drive sales forward. A strong negotiator, you will have a track record of delivering commercial results and successfully pushing through price increases. Do you go into a sales meeting asking how can I increase sales within this account today? You will have the drive and energy to outperform any KPIs and want to progress within an organisation. You will use your knowledge and passion for food to work collaboratively with customers. You will be on top of the latest trends and discussions in the food industry and, due to this, be able to work with clients to create solutions to commercial opportunities. You will be able to hold your own in negotiations with big retailers and high-pressure situations.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will come from a business supplying fresh or chilled food products to the food industry within national accounts. You will have a thorough understanding of category, negotiations, tender processes etc to drive the business further. You will be able to work autonomously and be driven to develop your career, whilst also being able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders. You will be a real foodie and have a passion for food. You will be able to communicate with chefs as well as buyers to deliver relationships as well as sales.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will have a proven track record in delivering account growth in the fresh/chilled food sector. You will be driven to progress your career and a strong communicator.
