Job Details
To maximise sales revenue and profitability and you will be responsible for gaining new business clients and also ensuring existing customers business is retained.
Client Details
My client began as a same day delivery service in the late 90's with one vehicle and a simple vision. Over time the company has expanded organically, and through acquisition they now have three sites strategically located in Doncaster, Stockport, and Caerphilly.
Description
- Working with the depot team and other sources to identify qualified prospects for new business
- Reporting on pipeline progress and sales forecasting
- Achieving maximum sales targets in your area in line with company pricing policy and strategy whilst ensuring that revenue and profitability objectives are achieved
- Regular liaison with the Depot General Manager and Office Manager to review, discuss existing trading and prospects
- Carry out price reviews and contract negotiations within your designated area
- Work alongside other functional departments to optimise the customer experience
Profile
- Field sales and telesales experience within the logistics parcel industry is preferred
- Proven track record of maximising sales and profitability
- Experience of using CRM systems
- Clean current and full UK driving licence
- A team player
- Be focused on delivering great customer service
