Role purpose

To manage all aspects of our E-Commerce business including:

  • Grocery.com – Working with Grocery account managers on the execution of all elements of
  • online trading for the .com platforms of each retailer
  • Ocado – Full account management to drive profitable distribution and growth of Cafedirect
  • products
  • Cafédirect’s D2C platform – Working with the roastery team and marketing to maximise
  • speciality offering to the consumer
  • Ethical & Organic Online Retailers – Full account management
  • Amazon – Supporting national distributor to maximise profitable growth and brand exposure

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Plans; Sales & Profitability

• Full P&L responsibility for Cafédirect Shop, Online Grocery retailer & Ethical Online retailers

2. Research & Analysis

• Regular performance updates communicated to extended internal team to drive understanding of our online performance within company

• Ongoing evaluation of the competitive landscape for ecommerce platforms and tracking of

promotional mechanics/activity

• Evaluating external links/SEO to drive traffic to Cafédirect listings within online retailers

3. Management and Activation of Cafédirect online presence within Grocery

• Product page optimisation (including which search terms products should appear under)

• Citrus Ad Management – work with the account manager to run Citrus Ad campaigns

4. Budget, Reporting & Evaluating

• Own and manage the budget, producing reports, which analyse all marketing activities and their impact on sales and profitability; monitor spend against budget; performance against plan

• Manage the monthly forecasting of accounts within the time period, and evaluating forecast versus actuals to drive more accurate forecasting

Experience

• Experience working with eCommerce and/or Grocery online platforms

• Experience with Citrus Ad platform

• Preferable experience in Wordpress/WooCommerce/Shopify

Skills

• Strong communication skills – interpersonal, written and presentation

• Strong numeracy skills

• IT skills – Microsoft Office

• Excellent accuracy and organisation skills

• Approachable yet professional at all times
