The role:

• As Retail Marketing Executive you will lead the activation of the selling plan to drive sales and customer footfall
• The Retail Marketing Executive will work cross functionally with multiple departments to deliver an impactful and effective sales plan that will utilize all communication channels such as in store, radio, digital etc.
• In the role of the Retail Marketing Executive you will use insights and data to develop and present proposals to the senior managers that will attract and retain customers
• To lead the activation of the national seasonal in-store selling plans, in line with the national strategy to drive customer footfall and basket spend.
• The role encompasses (but is not limited to) working across departments to develop and deliver impactful and effective Selling Plan programmes - utilising all SPAR communication assets – for example, radio and wider communication. 
• You will be required to make fact-based proposals and present them to stakeholders. 
• Working with the Strategy and Planning Manager to agree budgets.

Ideal candidate:

• This Retail Marketing Executive role is ideal for an individual who has retail marketing experience gained from UK food retail or wholesale
• It is essential to be able to demonstrate hands on marketing experience and will have managed projects from beginning to end. Along with excellent experience of working with insights and data
• In addition, you will demonstrate a passion for the customer and demonstrate fantastic communication skills
