Area Sales Manager

Do you have a background in consumer goods sales, in a field-based role? Better Placed are working with a well-known premium appliances brand who are looking for two Area Sales Managers to grow a range of retail customers in the South of England.


You will be responsible for maximising the commercial relationship with existing customers such as electrical and kitchen retailers. You will also identify and win new business as appropriate with business strategy, however the majority of the role is focused on existing business.



Areas are as follows:

1 x BDM Central England - HP, AL, WD, SL, HA, UB

1 x BDM South East London - TW, KT, SM, CR, SE


Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customer decision makers and act as key point of contact
  • Identify, target and develop new business opportunities within your allocated territory
  • Communicate promotions and key product features to clients
  • Assist in the reporting, analysis and evaluation of promotional campaigns

  • Have experience in consumer goods sales
  • Be proven in new business development as well as account management
  • Strong commercial and numerical skills
