As a Customer Business Manager at PepsiCo, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our commercial relationship for Walkers and Quaker across our Buying Groups and some Wholesale accounts.

In more detail you will:

  • Develop, own and manage responsibility for the commercial agenda across key Buying Groups and some Wholesale accounts. Including the agreement and execution of the Joint Business Plans to deliver against share, sales and profit targets.
  • Accountable for Walkers and Quaker sold through the account specifically developing strategies and tactics to drive high revenue/profit packs and products
  • Managing the day to day trading & promotional agenda with all customers
  • Ownership of the contact matrix, to ensure communication at appropriate touch points across all accounts
  • Negotiate Annual Terms and JBP targets and manage contractual payments to be made via PepsiCo accounts payable and finance teams
  • Line manage and develop one direct report

 

What we're looking for:

  • Broad sales experience preferably within a UK FMCG organisation
  • Wholesale experience would be ideal but not essential
  • Skilled negotiator - ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations at both tactical and a strategic/contractual level
  • Strong results orientation, track record of hitting and exceeding targets
  • Influencing skills - demonstration of ability to influence both internal and external agenda
  • Commercial Acumen - Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda
  • Self starter who is able to manage multiple priorities and senior external contacts as well as ability to line manage one direct report
