The Role:

Our client is recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager following their impressive growth over the last 3 years. The successful applicant will report into the UK Supply Chain & Procurement Director and be part of a senior management team ensuring all facets of output and margin are maximised.

The key purpose of this role is to develop and execute a strategic procurement strategy to deliver against all company KPI’s, whilst also providing inspiring day to day line management to all direct reports. Other accountabilities will include:

• Owning all commercial aspects within our major spend category Work collaboratively with your team & key internal stakeholders to resolve shared problems & deliver against strategy Managing the supplier assortment process, securing the highest value against clear service & technical / quality requirements Improving the supply network, bolstering the customer experience Being the prominent figure to crucial internal stakeholders within the business, ensuring alignment & driving forward key performance indicators Building cost models via detailed analysis Forecasting future cost pricing

Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity it is essential you have worked within the protein industry and have experience operating across or within all procurement and commercial functions. You must be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, be data driven, have a highly professional attitude and keen eye for detail.
