We work in partnership with various leading and exciting brands and we have an opportunity for a Regional Manager with our client Procter & Gamble. You would be responsible for driving the performance of your team to deliver against customer KPIs and objectives. Your role is to recruit, train, develop, motivate, and inspire a team to deliver excellence, including development and implementation of personal development plans, coaching and training.

In return for joining us as our Regional Manager (Grooming & Electrical Beauty & Skin Care) we can offer you a competitive salary of Up to £34,000 + Up to 15% Bonus + Company Car & Fuel Card.

Ideal Location: Bromley - Orpington

Territory: East London / Ket / Essex

What you will be doing as our Regional Manager?

  • Leading a team of 11 Category Development Managers focused on Grooming & Electrical Beauty & Skin care categories.
  • Working at least 3-4 days a week in the field with your team to coach, train and motivate and propose ways to constantly improve field delivery.
  • Ensure a deep and detailed knowledge of the Grooming, Electrical Beauty & Skin Care categories
  • Ensure a detailed working knowledge of the CDM role in store role, challenges and solutions being able to offer practical support and guidance.
  • To maintain team strength by effective recruitment overall effectiveness and maintaining staff turnover to agreed level. Use performance and development frameworks to establish benchmarks and agree action plans.
  • Regularly review performance against objectives and pro-actively manage conflict. Establish a dynamic team environment that encourages positive attitude, team interaction and creativity.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and development of team by identifying and addressing any performance or conduct issues through the appropriate company policies and procedures.
  • Analyse performance/epos/ OSA data to identify opportunities and underlying trends.
  • Plan, organise and deliver effective communication via appropriate methods and media in line with business priorities.
  • Attending regional Retailer Meetings with senior store contacts to present challenges and solutions to drive a reduction in shrink, inventory inaccuracies, and an increase in availability and sales.
  • Gather industry knowledge and use learning to develop key relationships and promote customer and FSS profile within channel.
  • Take responsibility for special retailer projects as identified by the Grooming National Account Manager.

What will you need to become our Regional Manager?

  • At least 3 years’ experience leading and managing field-based teams.
  • Excellent group and one to one coaching & presentation skills with the ability to motivate & inspire your team.
  • Be comfortable working with and understanding data to translate into insight.
  • Comfortable proactively building internal and external relationships.
  • Comfortable working to short deadlines in a fast paced, agency environment. Experience of managing multiple tasks.
  • Be well organised and able to plan effectively.
  • Excellent P&G product and market knowledge and a good understanding of different retailer in-store ways of working/process
  • Have the flexibility and capacity to work across your region staying away from home when required (up to two nights a week).
