Based Home / Bristol site c2-3 days / week

  • Has strong foothold in the UK market and exports to more than 40 countries.
  • Now seek to recruit a Sales & Marketing Director to join the team and help shape the future of the business.

 

The role: 

  • Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales & Marketing Director will be responsible for directing and leading the company’s sales vision, mission and strategic development plan for the UK & International Markets  
  • Oversee effective sales management of retailers, end users, distributors and sales partners, both existing and identifying new routes
  • As Sales & Marketing Director you will also be responsible for defining the marketing strategy and delivering added value innovation at the premium end of the market
  • You will lead, develop and motivate a team of c10 Sales & Marketing professionals
  • The nature of the business means that this is a hands-on role and the individual must be prepared to liaise cross functionally to ensure that opportunities are ‘landed’ and delivered to the standard required by the customer

 

Ideal candidate: 

  • You will already be operating at Sales & Marketing Director ready for a fresh challenge OR an outstanding Account / Channel / Grocery Controller OR International Sales Lead role ready for the next step
  • Be a natural leader
  • Ideally you will have customer experiences both UK & Internationally through sales agents & distributors
  • Be commercially astute with a strong negotiation track record; comfortable in the numbers and managing the overall strategy
  • Skilled working with cross functional team members by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial
  • Organised, methodical, analytical and proactive with strong influencing skills
  • Finally, you must have a passion for food and desire to work in added value chilled food category
