Description

The Export Sales Manager - Consumer Goods will;
  • build, develop and maintain a high quality network (distributors & retailers) across major regions such as EMEA, Asia and the US
  • launch and introduce leading products to new target markets as well as leveraging off existing business and relationships to increase distribution and sales across the designated markets
  • work closely with the global head of sales on the overall strategy, looking closely at budgets, forecasts and pipelines at all times
  • build my client's brand with the right distributors and retailers in the relevant markets
  • identifying new sales and business opportunities, researching and networking the right partners to work with across each territory, finding the best RTM, and growing sales in each region
  • on an ongoing basis, review previous and future sales activities across these regions; understanding the pipeline of business, forecasting areas of growth and recommended investment to continue to grow sales
  • on an ongoing basis, review all existing partnerships across the designated territories to make sure those relationships and brand representation are right for the business and will have a positive impact on reputation, service and sales
  • continually educate and support these distributors on the brand and products making sure opportunities to increase sales and future sales are not impacted
  • be available to travel as the role requires, as business dictates internationally
  • develop and implement the appropriate joint business plans, marketing plans and regular communication and reporting


Profile

The Export Sales Manager - Consumer Goods will;
  • have previous experience in international / export sales with a consumer good business - either in CPG or FMCG and have a track record of building a network of distributors and retailers in international markets successfully with strong sales results
  • be a very proactive and organised sales person, being able to illustrate /demonstrate a road map to success from identifying and developing the right partnerships to delivering meaningful sales results and outcomes
  • passionate for product, energetic and brings a positive attitude and approach to their work
  • someone happy to be the sales 'face' of the brand within the designated markets and territories, attending the right networking events, exhibitions and trade shows
  • someone who is very passionate about international sales and results, who gets a buzz from making the sales!
  • passionate about travel and different cultures too - enjoys being out in different markets - culturally very sensitive to local ways of doing business and embracing this as they build these relationships
  • be someone that can access the Surrey-based UK office a couple of days per week
  • bring ideas, innovation, creativity to the role and the wider commercial team
  • someone that wants to continue an already successfully career and build something very meaningful in this role


Job Offer

circa £50,000 per annum basic salary (DOE) + OTE/Commission/Bonuses + other benefits + real career progression
