National Account Manager - Amazon

The Advocate Group is working in partnership with one of the UK's fastest growing FMCG businesses operating within the Health & Beauty space. This is a highly ambitious business turning over around £50m each year and is on a journey to doubling that over the next 3 years.

To support the expansion of the business, we are leading the search for a driven commercial professional to join the Sales team and help drive sales in the eCommerce space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the sales strategy, annual business plans and deliver against these for the defined customer
  • base.
  • Ownership of full Customer P&L managing and delivering against all required elements
  • Deliver against the sales budgets in line with the needs of the business
  • Ongoing evaluation and response to sales performance vs plan.
  • Network comprehensively within trade accounts in all areas including buying, stock replenishment,
  • finance, merchandising, training and supply chain using these contacts to benefit business and the
  • trade relationship
  • Work collaboratively across all functions
  • Work closely with Brand & Digital Marketing Teams to ensure visibility & conversion in the channel
  • is maximised and packs and products are aligned to the ecommerce strategy
  • Develop new business within the channel

Your profile:

  • An excellent understanding of Amazon
  • Strong understanding and proven capability of managing eCommerce accounts
  • Excellent commercial and account management skills
  • A real ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers at multiple levels
  • Ability to negotiate with customers to achieve objectives
  • Proven experience of using market & consumer insight to deliver commercial benefits
  • Strong analytical skills and able to interpret complex data
  • Good commercial acumen & commercial understanding of other business functions
  • The ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines
  • Tenacious ability to go the extra mile to make it happen within all accounts
