The Area Sales Manager role:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative / Area Sales Manager to maximise sales revenue across existing accounts and new stockists in your region.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Create a journey plan that maximises customer contact time for existing and new accounts.
- Constantly prospect for new business in garden, DIY and general retail channels.
- Attend trade shows and follow up leads to convert enquiries to sales .
- Work with a national sales and marketing team to develop strategies, POS and promotional plans.
- Liaise with merchandising colleagues to ensure customers are well supported.
- Develop strong relationships with all buyers and influencers.
- Report to UK & Ireland Sales Director.
The Area Sales Manager candidate:
Home based, you will be able to travel throughout your region as required. We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a passion for outdoor living who can excel in this high-profile role.
Suitable candidates will have:
- Proven success as a Sales Representative in a non-food consumer goods business.
- Ideally with experience of selling to garden centres.
- An energetic, charismatic and entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a fast paced environment.
- Highly skilled in negotiation and presentation.
- Committed to new business growth alongside account management.
- Track record of success in previous roles.
