PH1381 – National Account Manager – Foodservice Food Concept

Location –  National, Birmingham, London, Oxford, Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield

Salary – 40K-42K (52K OTE) Company Car or allowance, Full company benefits.

The Company:

We are one of the leading food concept providers to the Foodservice sector across the UK.

Over the last 25 years we have developed to be a market leader in our field with a brand name synonymous with our products and services.

We provide a turn key food to go solution predominantly to education and contract catering providers.

The majority of our client base is secondary education focussed but we also work with higher education, primary education and mainstream contract caterers.

Our success is based on implementing high service levels but also continued and strong NPD to enable our range to be both accessible, nutritious and appealing to our target consumers.

Due to a highly successful end to 2021 and ambitious growth plans, we are seeking to add to our National Accounts team in 2022.

The role:

This position is an Account Management focussed opportunity managing a portfolio of National Accounts predominantly in the Education Contract Catering sector.

We are fortunate to have existing listings with many clients in this area, but are keen to explore these relationships further, as we exit the pandemic, and further increase prominence of our brand within this account base.

We see this role being strategic in nature and, as a result, candidates will be expected to develop relationships at buyer level and put together Joint Business plans which enable these clients to further develop their food solutions whilst growing spend/revenue with ourselves.

Success in this role will be demonstrated through growth of accounts base both with individual clients and across the account portfolio.

This is a key part of our growth strategy and the role will also involve engaging with the Field sales team to implement JBPS.

The Applicant:

We are seeking to speak to candidates who have been operating at Key Accounts/NAM level with buyer level experience seeking to develop their career.

  • Candidates must have some exposure to Key Accounts or National Account level business within Foodservice.
  • Experience in managing Contract Catering and/or Education clients will be of strong interest.
  • Candidates can be from a Key Accounts background seeking a step into National level.
  • This role will also suit candidates who have operated at NAM level, looking for a career opportunity with fantastic work life balance and an established account base to inherit.
