Split across two large sites they provide plants and products to their loyal customers and have a wealth of knowledge to help their customers in making purchases.

About the Role

As Garden Centre Manager, you will be focused on maintaining high levels of customer service and be meticulous to detail in terms of product placement, standards, and presentation of the full site with an operational approach to bringing new business and developing relationships with suppliers. You will be the face of the centre working closely with Department Managers to keep things running smoothly year-round.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a garden centre environment and be looking for a new challenge or a step up. You will have great retailing knowledge and an interest in passing this knowledge onto colleagues and customers. You will be confident in running a large site and can train, develop, and motivate the people around you. You will have a commercial mind, knowing stock control methods, increasing add-on sales, and acknowledging areas of improvement. Although industry experience is preferred, we are open to candidates with previous retail management experience from any horticultural or retail background.
