About our Client

We are working with an independent, family-run business that has been established for nearly 40 years. Over time, they have built a successful business, with a dedicated focus on the environment and sustainability. They are now looking for a department manager who can support in delivering KPIs and quality customer service, whilst also undertaking a project looking to grow the Machinery department with a mixture of sales and servicing options available.

About the Role

Working as Machinery Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for driving sales forward, encouraging and providing excellent customer service. With a particular focus on the Garden Machinery products, you will oversee the buying of stock, merchandising, and the development of your team. You will ensure the team and department are achieving KPIs. You will also investigate new business paths looking at servicing and upgrading products within the business.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have worked with Garden Centre mechanical products or machinery focused environment before and will be proficient in the building of machinery, being able to support and influence customers and the team around you. You will be a strong and positive communicator and be confident in leading your teams. There will be a genuine interest in products and the industry.
