A brand new role created to complement the change and growth with my client's UK business, the new Category Manager will be a crucial part of the sales and marketing function.

Category Manager - Personal Care Brands

Description

The Category Manager - Personal Care Brands will:-
  • be responsible for the development and execution of effective strategies to facilitate sales for my client
  • own and drive in conjunction with marketing, the UK channel strategies across 3 categories in personal care
  • be a key member of the UK commercial operation and the wider team
  • implement a comprehensive category growth agenda across all channels and customers by incorporating consumer and shopper insights to deliver best in class retail solutions
  • effectively translate brand plans into actions for the sales team to support profitability and drive the category growth agenda for each brand


Profile

The Category Manager - Personal Care Brands will:-
  • come with experience from a CPG / FMCG background in category management or trade/shopper/marketing or a combination
  • come with strong working knowledge of consumer insights and trends e.g. IRI, Nielsen, Kantar alongside customer EPOS
  • have experience in delivering fact-based selling stories to influence decision-making
  • be degree-level educated in a relevant area such as business administration
  • be a strategic, entrepreneurial thinking candidate who is proactive in identifying business opportunities
  • have excellent communication, presentation and commercial skills
  • be analytical, a self-starter and can work autonomously when needed
  • come with a positive outlook and show future leadership qualities
  • be able to access the Surrey-based office a min of twice per week


Job Offer

c£40,000 to £50,000 per annum + annual bonus + car allowance + benefits
