Key Account Manager - Dairy products into Foodservice
(Field/Home based role)
Circa £30,000 to £35,000 Basic depending on experience plus bonus, car, and benefits.
Covering a territory spanning South London down to Southampton - the ideal candidate will be located in the Woking/Guildford area
This is a fabulous opportunity for a Food-service sales professional to develop their career within an established business with a rich heritage.
We are working with a major food producer – who specialise in dairy products to both retail and the foodservice channel. They produce an array of different dairy products, and these are sold in eighty countries all over the world. The company is well respected and very established, and they are currently looking to further strengthen their sales team within Independent Trade in the foodservice channel.
This role is a wonderful opportunity to manage an existing account base of foodservice clients across a designated geographical area – and demonstrate growth via effective new business and account development. The role is of a consultative nature due to the comprehensive range available to the client and candidates will be expected to be able to communicate with a wide range of decision maker ranging from Chefs through to Catering Managers and Purchasing teams.
You will be responsible for a dual aspect role, which is firstly to carry out Account management activity to support a variety of established Distributor relationships within the foodservice sector. Secondly, you will undertake BD & Account Management activities designed to maximise revenue within Independent End Users in Horeca, Care-homes, Education QSR & Fast-food.
We are ideally seeking to speak to proven sales professionals with experience selling into the foodservice and catering sector.
•A background working for a foodservice food manufacturer or wholesaler is paramount.
•Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in field sales.
•Candidates with experience in sales to the Independent Hospitality sector are of particular interest.
