Head of Marketing

Looking for a Head of Marketing to manage the marketing budget, 2 direct reports and the following duties:

• Responsible for developing and implementing advertising, marketing and brand management strategy and programs.
• Act in the role of lobbyist of the local marketing and communications team and is an effective voice for the needs of customers and consumers with the aim of influencing UNIT strategy and product roadmap.
• An active member of the international marketing community, the Head of Marketing will promote the exchange of best practices and local consumer insights and translate them into relevant brand activation.
• Liaise closely with the local sales team and the broader local management team, thereby contributing to the implementation of the commercial strategy.
• As a strong leader and experienced marketer, build the functional skills of the team and actively foster and develop talent.
• Responsible for the annual marketing plan and budget approval in close cooperation with the local General Management and Global Brand Marketing.
• Planning and execution of the marketing plan and activities including KPI measurement and analytics for continuous data-driven decision taking and improvement.
• Developing and implementing new product launch strategies and programs; Developing and implementing national and regional advertising campaigns, annual media plan and plan, create and distribute Company press releases.
• In collaboration with Product Manager, providing input and analysis on new product identification and development based on periodic assessment of market trends, competitor trends and opportunities.
• Development and distribution of marketing and sales support materials.
• Developing and implementing processes to coordinate and manage all trade shows and exhibitions (e.g., KBB) and assist in key sales events.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven leadership skills of teams with a commercial mindset in an international company and several years’ of experience with responsibility within a leading brand.
• Successful track record in the development and implementation of campaigns for various. brands, in ATL/BTL communication and strong expertise in digital marketing (communication and D2C experience).
• Minimum 8-10 years’ marketing experience.
• Degree in marketing/business and marketing.
• Knowledge of the KBB sector would be an advantage.

Salary/Benefits Information: £55,000 – £60,000 + benefits
