A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful sales leader to join my client as their new Head of Sales, driving an existing sales teams to achieve targets and grow the revenues and profits of the business at the same time. The Head of Sales will join the senior leadership team and be an integral part of the business for the long-term.

Description
The Head of Sales - Wholesale will:-
- create and build a successful sales strategy to achieve the agreed business and sales targets
- ensure that the sales team and developed and coached to achieve their own personal targets
- be hands on in developing and maximsing new opportunities to grow revenue and targets by developing extensive networks to drive more greater reach for my client
- grow and nurture the sales team; training, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team
- drive a positive and successful sales team culture driving best in class practices at all times
- maintain the very highest customer service approach at all times
- manage social media through the website, twitter, Facebook and instagram top maximise market position and reputation in the industry
- in conjunction with the marketing manager, be responsible for producing comprehensive marketing material including the successful catalogue
- report to senior management on sales performance - in line with with business expectations, KPIs and profit targets
- design, build and execute an effective sales pipeline to drive new business to meet targets
Profile
The Head of Sales - Wholesale - will come with the following skills and experiences:-
- a proven track record in sales management within the wholesale channel ideally with an FMCG or consumer goods company
- experience at coaching, developing and training a successful sales team into a high-performing sales team
- a proactive, hands on sales leader, driven by success and comfortable with KPIs, setting and achieving personally
- strong ability to build on existing relationships but also strong networking skills and an appetite for new business an continued growth
- very self-motivated, self-starter but someone who leads by example when managing a sales team
- ambitious, driven - determined to surpass previous performance and results
- previous experience with a small to medium sized business
- adaptable, flexible and able to work and succeed in a fast-pace environment
- based in and around the London area
Job Offer
£60,000 to £80,000 (dependent on experience - the salary will include any car or health benefits) + OTE + other standard benefits
