A well-respected food business who, after recently concluding a hefty investment project, require a driven Sales Director to spearhead a hugely exciting commercial plan to pioneer ‘the future’ of food production.
We seek those with strong experience and a proven record of success whilst operating with in fresh or chilled food categories. You will naturally ‘buy in’ to the vision and mission of the business, ensuring your passion for environmentally friendly initiatives and sustainable food production help you to drive significant sales growth across all customer channels, with a key focus on the UK major multiples.
With budget agreed to support your appointment and further strengthen the existing commercial team across sales, market research and competitor analysis – make no mistake, this is a business aspiring to swiftly become the new key player within the categories in which they operate, as well as drive into new areas where synergies can be identified or created through effective innovation process.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with the following key tasks:
· Developing the strategic focus on addressable markets.
· Managing key accounts and developing new business relationships.
· Leading the sales teams.
· Managing all commercial contracts.
· Acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
To succeed, we are seeking creative and driven senior sales leaders who will bring entrepreneurial thinking and the drive and ambition required to ‘set the standard’ for your team and lead by example.
Once in role, the successfully appointed individual will immediately be given the go ahead to recruit an entirely new sales force, whist working closely with the board to collaborate on overall company growth plans.
