National Account Manager/Sales Manager – FMCG, 6 month FTC

The Client:

A UK FMCG business with revenues of around £20m per year.  They have grown organically over the last few years, picking up some high value Retail Multiple accounts along the way.  To facilitate the next stage of their growth, they are looking for a National Account Manager to engage and initiate conversations with some large target accounts.

The Role:

This role covers strategy and tactics to approach Retail Multiple accounts across the UK at head office level.  Given the lead times involved, your six-month role will be measured on engagement – get in front of the right buyers, understand their wider needs within the category and produce a solution that is fit-for-purpose, ultimately leading to product listings within their stores.

You will be given plenty of internal support from marketing and sales to ensure your approach is credible, visible and value-based.  Be successful and a full-time role awaits you.

The Person:

It’s likely that you have FMCG sales/account management experience with exposure to Retail Multiple accounts a must.

The Rewards:

A basic salary of £50 – 70,000 pro rata is on offer.  There will be the option for this role to become permanent after 6 months.
