£25,000 + bonus + benefits

Based: Wootton Bassett / Devizes / Cirencester / Chippenham

Our client is a heritage food business with a portfolio of successful retail and food service products. Many of the products are handmade and of such high quality they are stocked by the world’s finest retailers.

Unlike other businesses they are more versatile, focussed and ambitious. They understand the needs of their consumers and retailers and control all aspects of the supply chain to provide profitable solutions.

You Will:-

• Grow and manage sales and promotional activity in existing Specialist Independent accounts.
• Actively seeking and generating new customers, via phone / teams / zoom
• Processing daily orders which arrive from customers via email or phone
• Supporting the Head of Sales, with Grocery retail account administration.
• Building strong relationships externally with customers and internally with the wider team.

Key Responsibilities and Decision Making

• Growing sales of Specialist Independents in line with business targets.
• Coordinates with all other departments/ areas of the business.
• Develops and maintains a strong working relationship internally and externally.
• Responsible for providing sales forecasts for assigned Specialist Independents.
• Managing day to day customer administration such as price lists, promotional calendars, sales out data
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to effectively deliver activity in assigned accounts.
• Organising and planning visits effectively to customers’ head offices at key times.
• Agreeing and implementing annual price increases and maintaining pricing strategy.
