National Account Manager - Foodservice Lead

  • Fast-growing plant-based brand
  • Recently acquired by a large FMCG business
  • Unique role driving the strategy for the growing foodservice division


Better Placed are currently recruiting a National Account Manager role for an entrepreneurial food brand with a brilliant range of plant-based products. They were recently acquired by a larger business, meaning they have the stability and network of a big FMCG business, while maintaining the entrepreneurial way of working typical of SMEs.

Main responsibilities:

 

 

 

  • Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer
  • Business Development to bring on new customers within foodservice, catering, food assembly channels
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Controlling budgets and forecasting
  • Launching and driving NPD
  • Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
  • Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities

What we need from you:

 

 

 

  • Experience in national accounts, managing high-profile foodservice customers
  • Experience strategically managing a P&L and implementing growth YOY
  • Entrepreneurial way of working with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Background in stimulating account growth and a passion for new business
