National Account Manager – Wholesale/Cash & Carry

The Client:

A leading European brand, now sold in 50+ countries in the world.  They have an engaging story to tell with strong brand values, a leading-edge culture and realistic career opportunities.  They are looking to further invest in the UK market with plans to double their revenue in the next few years.  To facilitate further growth, they are looking for an ambitious and hungry individual who can help develop the Wholesale and Cash & Carry channel.

The Role:

This will be a challenging and rewarding role which will bring with it further career opportunities if you are successful.  You will be part of the management team, playing a leading role in influencing growth across the UK market.

In this role, a team of Wholesale Development Reps and Van Sales Reps will support your pull-through sales strategy.  It will be up to you to approach, engage and develop leading Wholesaler and Cash & Carry customers that have a national reach.  You will need to have an existing network where you can engage quickly and get in front of the right decision-makers – Directors, Buyers and Wholesale Managers.  You will have plenty of sales & marketing support from various regional offices around the country.  

The UK is a relatively untapped market for this brand so there is huge scope to make a significant impact.

The Person:

You will be a senior sales person from a Grocery/FMCG background.  A track record of developing wholesale and cash & carry customers is a must.

The Rewards:

A basic salary of £55 – 65,000 is on offer with a full benefits package.  Expect to earn £100,000 per year.
