2022 is going to be an exciting, challenging and very special time for top UK commercial talent to join this business and become part of their enlarging sales and marketing team, in further building both brand and own-label business across all UK trade channels.
THE ROLE
Rare? As with joining this business, so is securing this amazing Marketing Manager leadership position, which will involve you setting up a brand new marketing department function – WOW. This will involve you using all your FMCG brand marketing experience to shape and set up a new blueprint for what leading-edge, consumer brand marketing is all about!
Shaping systems, processes and building strategic 3-year brand plans across their 3 brands, including a household name consumer champion! Once things get going you will start to build your team with brand communication budget, innovation and so much more, which you know will need developing and setting up… so exciting stuff!
The role will report to the UK Director but will also work extensively with the commercial and category teams, involving both their brand portfolio and own-label products, which collectively provide their category leadership status.
The role is home based; however, you are required to work from the Midlands H.O. a minimum of 2 days a week.
ABOUT YOU
You are a classically-trained FMCG marketer with c10 years experience and currently working at Marketing Manager/Controller level within a recognised food or drink brand, or a brand and own-label mix business.
Shaping modern and effective consumer-led brand strategies, plus leading marketing teams is your forte, coupled with hands-on experience of managing all elements of the 360° marketing mix.
You have a track record of building and growing brands through logical and creative set thinking and can openly present (with pride and passion) your special achievement stories at interview.
This amazing career move will require your drive, energy, passion, operational standard setting together with an open and highly personable style that can work collaboratively with all key internal and external stakeholders.
