The Company

Our client are a loved household brand that you are likely to be using on a very frequent basis. They have provided solutions on a wide variety of products that consumers now love. Based in the heart of Yorkshire with its ever-lasting family owned structure after setting out its vision within this channel 70 years ago. With business going brilliantly well within their retail customers, they are now looking to set up a strategy across wholesale channels.

 

The Role

Our client are looking for a Commercial Manager to join their strong commercial team who has the ability to set up and develop the Wholesale / Foodservice / Convenience channel and get this side of the business to a strong point. You will be responsible for winning new business within these channels and then managing these customers going forward, whilst also being involved in the creation of the wholesale strategy. This will allow you to develop your commercial skills and also to look at the strategic side of things. The role itself will be a home based role with very minimal requirement to be in the office as our client feel it is more beneficial for people to be able to work from home.

 

The Person

The ideal candidate will have worked across the channels mentioned above and have a range of contacts from within here. The main customers on this are going to be the likes of Country Range, Birchalls and other customers of this nature. With 2-8 years within a similar role, you will have the skills in order to make things happen with our client. Ideally, the right candidate will be outgoing with a hard-working persona and have the get-up-and-go attitude to win business and make things work.
