- Has strong foothold in the UK market and exports to more than 40 countries.
- International Sales are a highly valued part of the business (c30%) and is strategically a key growth driver for them and as a result of retirement we are now seeking a growth driven International Sales Manager to deliver this objective
The role:
- As International Sales Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with these key accounts along with being an ambassador for the business within designated export markets.
- They have strong trade relationships across Europe, North America and Asia; ideally someone will join to focus on Europe & China but this is flexible dependent on market experience your could bring!
- You be the classic hunter; able to develop new business relationships to secure new listings (whether direct or indirect / distributor); but also skilled at brand development and cultivating long term partnerships
- The nature of the business means that this is a hands-on role and the individual must be prepared to liaise cross functionally to ensure that opportunities are ‘landed’ and delivered to the standard required by the customer
- Whilst reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll have a huge amount of autonomy and freedom to make decisions
Ideal candidate:
- You must have a track record of building existing business and winning new business across Europe within an International Sales Manager role
- With solid sales experience, you be skilled at developing the best strategy & route to market for each customer and channel, for each geographical territory
- Exceptional commercial awareness to be able to make pricing & promotional decisions independently
- Skilled working with cross functional team members by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial
- Demonstrated impressive business achievements through consumer insight and bringing energy & motivation to your role
- Be fiercely driven and have a passion to succeed as if it was you own business….
