This is an exciting opportunity to lead the National Accounts Team in the role of Head of National Accounts. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the job holder will have full responsibility for c. £40M P&L and team management (5 Senior NAMS) and development, to increase the Company's sales, profitability, and positive market profile. The role will also be focused on the identification and execution of new business opportunities, delivering greater integration with the retailers and a major contributor to the wider business strategic direction. ~ 3 years+ proven experience in leading a successful national accounts team in an FMCG environment
~ A respected leader, keen to develop the team, encouraging personal development and success
~ Experience of developing commercial proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and maximising the opportunity for success
~ Implemented and driven joint business planning and channel wide marketing plans
~ Proven track record in developing new business income streams
~ The ability to develop trusted partnerships with customers
~ Strong negotiation skills
~ Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence externally and internally
~ Previous experience of growing national accounts
~ Experience in managing a channel P&L
~ Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
~ A tenacious self-starter with excellent follow through to deliver desired results
~ Advanced skills MS office, in particular Excel.Job Offer
Up to £85,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits.
